Violence Against Women Services
At the Counselling Centre of East Algoma, we recognize that every woman's journey is unique. Our Violence Against Women Services provide compassionate, trauma-informed support for women who have experienced violence, abuse, or unhealthy relationships. We are committed to helping women increase safety, rebuild confidence, and move toward lives free from violence.
Our services extend beyond counselling alone. Through advocacy, outreach, referrals, and strong community partnerships, we help connect women with the resources, supports, and opportunities they need to achieve their personal goals and enhance their overall well-being.
Using a holistic approach, our counsellors work alongside women to support emotional healing, self-development, self-care, physical and mental wellness, and long-term stability. We believe that healing involves more than recovering from trauma—it also includes building confidence, strengthening resilience, and creating opportunities for a brighter future.
