  • Your donation directly supports counselling and mental health services for individuals and families in our community. Funds are used to help cover the cost of professional counselling, reduce financial barriers for clients, support community outreach, and maintain essential program operations. We strive to ensure donations have a meaningful and immediate impact close to home.

  • Yes. We are a registered Canadian charity with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). Donations made by Canadian residents are eligible for a charitable tax credit in accordance with CRA guidelines.

  • Yes. An official CRA‑compliant tax receipt will be issued for all eligible donations of $10 or more. Receipts are typically issued:

    • Immediately for online donations, or

    • Within a reasonable timeframe for e‑transfers, cheques, or cash donations

  • Yes. Online donations are processed through a secure, encrypted payment platform that meets Canadian privacy and security standards. We do not store your credit card information.

  • Absolutely. You may choose to make:

    • A one‑time donation, or

    • A recurring monthly donation, which helps us plan services more effectively throughout the year

    You can select the option that works best for you.

  • Yes. Donations can be made in honour or in memory of a loved one. If you wish, we can also notify the honouree or family with a card or email acknowledging your gift (without disclosing the amount).

  • We are governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and follow all CRA regulations for registered charities. We maintain clear financial controls, track how funds are spent, and regularly review our programs to ensure they align with our mission and community needs.

  • The majority of our donations are directed toward counselling programs and direct client support. As a small community agency, we work hard to keep administrative and fundraising costs as low as possible while maintaining high‑quality, ethical services.

  • Our financial statements and annual reports are available upon request. We are also listed on the CRA Charities Directorate website, where basic financial information is publicly accessible.

  • Yes. We accept donations by:

    • Interac e‑transfer

    • Cheque

    • Cash (in person)

  • Yes. Monthly donations can be changed or cancelled at any time. Simply contact us, and we will be happy to assist you—no penalties or questions asked.
