The Counselling Centre of East Algoma has a waitlist for individual counselling. This is based off of the clinician's current case load. We will triage and assign clients to the highest need and urgency.

We understand that life gets busy. Please try to call 48 hours ahead of your scheduled appointment to cancel.

Please call your assigned clinician at their assigned extension for any appointment rebooking. We do understand you may not remember their extension, if this occurs, please contact the agency at 705-848-2585.

Some programs do have a fee, such as the Partner Assault Response Program.

Services provided at CCEA are short-term. We'll discuss the duration upfront, and it may change based on your needs.

We'll review your progress regularly to ensure our services still fit your needs.

If we think it’s best, we can extend your sessions or adjust the limits based on our reviews, but we'll always discuss changes together.

Our programs are funded to ensure that individuals in our community can access the support they need. Missed appointments without notice can impact service availability for others.

 To help us provide the best care possible, we have a No-Show Fee Policy. This policy will be explained in detail by your counsellor during your first session.

Services will end when the agreed time is up or we decide it's necessary during a check-in.
