Experienced Psychodynamic Counsellor/Psychotherapist

We have a vacancy for a qualified Psychodynamic Counsellor/Psychotherapist with a minimum of 3 years experience to run supervision groups and carry out assessments at the BCC with a starting salary of £5126.88 for 7.5 hours per week.

Monthly supervision of your supervision work will be provided. Candidates must already hold a supervision qualification or be willing to undertake training.

Trustees

We are able to consider applications from suitably qualified persons to join the Board of Trustees. Formal Meetings are held quarterly and there is opportunity for Trustees to participate in the very interesting and worthwhile work carried out by the Charity.

Counsellors

We have ongoing requirements for Volunteer Counsellors. However demands can change from one month to the next. Please contact our Head of Counselling for the up-to-date situation.

Successful applicants will be offered weekly supervision, ongoing professional development training and the opportunity and encouragement to qualify in certain specialisms and so work towards paid work with BCC and a personal application for BACP individual accreditation.
