Introduction to Counselling

The Introduction to Counselling Course for 2008 will take place over 8 Thursday evenings between 7.30 and 9.30pm, January and March . More details available on request. The cost for the 8 evenings is £95.

It will be held at the Cornerstone Community building in Norreys Avenue in Wokingham and the cost will be £95.00. This course will provide an introduction to listening and counselling skills, a brief look at psychological development and the opportunity to develop self-awareness. Areas explored on this course are basic counselling skills, self awareness, developmental stages of life and attachment and loss.

Attendees will find this a very useful introduction to counselling and will develop an understanding of how to provide an accepting, sensitive and supportive climate for their work. This course is intended for those needing to use listening skills in the workplace or in the voluntary sector.
