Wokingham and Fleet Half Marathons
The Trustees and Staff of the centre would like to thank everyone who contributed to our first double half marathon fund-raising events in February and March 2008. We would like to thank Bob, Yvonne, Charlotte, Evelyn, David, Steven, Trish, and Paul for their herculean efforts in running and raising some valuable sponsorship for the Berkshire Counselling Centre. The beautiful weather enjoyed at the Wokingham event was in stark contrast to the rain, wind and cold of the Fleet event; although curiously many of our runners actually improved on their Wokingham times at Fleet. We look forward to posting further information on this site as and when the final amounts are collected and received. Our task then will be deciding on how to spend this valuable contribution. As a Charity our mission is to provide high quality and professional counselling to the commmunity. Last year we provided over 2,500 sessions to our clients. However we are totally self-funded and can only provide this help and support with the aid of your help and support and the help of the many people who give their time and energy to keeping our Charity running.
